East Coast couple, Asia and Dave had a destination wedding in Southern California. They married at the lovely harbor town of Dana Point, California. (One of my favorite towns!). Their wedding day started with a traditional Catholic ceremony at a beautiful church which stood on the hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The views were so incredible, it was hard not to just stop and stare out there for hours. Oh, but it was such a wonderful ceremony, you did not want to miss Asia and Dave saying their ” I do’s”, and getting married! THAT was amazing!
Following the ceremony, the wedding party ( 16 in total!), hopped into the cute beach cruiser bus, and headed down to the harbor, where they captured some fun photos. Guests headed to the Dana Point Yacht Club, where they enjoyed tacos, seafood, and other delicious bites, including two signature drinks.
One of my favorite moments (there were a few!), was when Asia and Dave entered their cocktail hour on a YACHT! Oh, and this was a surprise for their guests. The guests went crazy, and clapped, and cheered as Asia and Dave made their way to the reception. Now, THAT is a grand entrance, right?
The ballroom’s decor and pretty coral and gold details, made this Nautical chic wedding a Southern California dream wedding. I did have a super swoon moment when I saw the ombre wedding cake. This cake had me staring at it for a while, (like 10 minutes!). Just too gorgeous to eat, you know?
After dinner, the party really started, with the live band kicking things off. The dance floor was never empty! The live band kept the guests dancing and having a good time all night. It was packed! Later in the evening, another surprise was revealed! (another fabulous moment!). The In-N-Out Burger truck arrived for some late night snacking. Perfect welcome to California moment right there! No California visit is complete without an In-N-Out burger! Guests went crazy, and it was a total hit! If the s’mores station, wedding cake, and other treats wasn’t enough, guests could enjoy the yummy flavors from the cute gelato cart.
Asia and Dave really showed their guests a great Southern California time! What a fantastic wedding and so much fun!
Congrats to Asia and Dave!

We hired Perfectly Made Weddings for day of coordinator services for our Auguts 27, 2016 wedding. My husband and I live on the East Coast, so we knew we would definitely need someone to help us the day of. Niloufar went above and beyond making sure everything was set up perfectly. We had already hired 80% of our vendors prior to hiring Niloufar but were concerned about day of execution and making sure all vendors knew what was going on. The last thing I wanted was to carry my phone around with me the day of our special day. In came Niloufar… she was in constant contact with us and the vendors making sure everyone was on top of everything and had all the correct information about the day. She even recommended a few vendors that I was struggling with, the florist she recommended was beyond AMAZING!! It felt good going into the day knowing that everything would be taken care of and it was! Everyone commented on how smoothly the day went. I would 100% recommend Perfectly Made Weddings to any future bride getting married in Southern California!
