D.C. couple, Jenna and Logan had their Southern California destination wedding in the quaint beach town of Dana Point, California. The Dana Point Yacht Club was the perfect location for their fun, and festive wedding. Let me tell you, this wedding was AMAZING! Not only are Jenna and Logan the coolest, and most relaxed couple, they are so sweet and big hearted. It was a joy to plan with them, and I totally loved all their ideas. They wanted to incorporate lots of fun details to their special day. Can you say Pineapple loving? Yes, pineapple details were found everywhere, and it was so cute. It was so CALIFORNIA, and made you feel so relaxed. Oh, and can you say sparkle? Yep, gorgeous gold everywhere, but in a good way. Honestly, the gold had me smiling and wanting to stare at it all day. It added glam and elegance to their wedding day.
Their day started with a lovely ceremony on the patio overlooking the gorgeous Pacific Ocean, shared with 150 of their friends and family. Their ceremony was (as they say), short but sweet. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour was enjoyed by their guests, as the couple snuck away for a surprise they would share with their guests later that evening. This wedding gets better and better, am I right?
Oh, the surprise? Yes I can share now! DUH! I kept it secret for so long, I have to remind myself the wedding is now passed, and can share away! So, Jenna and Logan had their grand entrance by coming in on a yacht! Yes, it was so romantic and lovely. All the guests cheered as they made their way to the venue, with the beautiful sunset in the background.
The evening continued with a magical reception setting, full of stunning details. Delicious food, yummy desserts and cake, heartfelt speeches, crazy photo booth pictures, and a dance floor that was literally packed all night. Talk about a party crowd!
A few more surprises were planned for the night. Yep, that yacht entrance was pretty epic, but I think this next surprise was a total tear jerker. Jenna shared a dance with her mom for a Daughter-Mother dance, with a song performed live by a dear friend of the family. The live performer was a surprise, and mom instantly cried as soon as she saw her come in and start singing. It was such a beautiful moment to witness.
The last surprise? Guess what showed up with a delicious late night snack? The Habit Burger Truck! Guests lined up and placed their orders, and enjoyed burgers and fries. What a way to end a night of pineapple magical California love.
Congratulations to Jenna and Logan!

I realized that I was in over my head planning my cross-country wedding about halfway through the process and six months from our wedding day. I found Niloufar and Perfectly Made Weddings through our venue and am SO glad we did! After chatting on the phone, we quickly discovered that she happened to be on the East Coast (where we currently reside) and took the time out of her vacation to meet with me. I knew right then that Niloufar was “the one” for us! As a busy professional, Niloufar was just what I needed to keep me on track and on top of all of the many details involved in planning a wedding (especially when your wedding is literally across the country). I literally could not have planned my wedding without her. She kept the process fun and almost completely stress-free! (Gals, those invitations are NOT fun and we all get pre-wedding jitters!). I cannot recommend Niloufar’s services enough! Thank you Niloufar and Perfectly Made Weddings!
