When you have Southern California destination wedding at one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with an amazing couple from Las Vegas, Nevada, (and their cute baby girl), along with 80 out of town guests, you know its going be a good one! Daniela and Tommy visited San Diego one day, and instantly fell in love. They knew that it was the city that they would say their ” I Do”s.
Located at the lovely Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, on the lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Daniela and Tommy together with their friends and family, (including Daniela’s big Italian family), shared their vows and love. The ceremony was so special, as it included not only their wedding party, but also their adorable daughter as the flower girl. Down the aisle she came, and then handed to her father (the groom), and then together with her mom, (the bride), as she made it to the alter. It was such a wonderful moment, I could not help myself and cried. I love moments like these!
The ceremony was so lovely, uplifting, and inspiring, officiated by Alan Katz of Great Officiants. Oh, and two dolphins swam by during the ceremony! It was all so magical!
The magic continued and flowed through to the reception with so many amazing details. Daniela and Tommy incorporated lots of love into their wedding. From the grand Italian dessert bar filled with so many traditional Italian treats, the mini wine bottle wedding favors, the fun candy bar, and cute beach pail gifts for the kids.
I loved that Daniela shared her Italian traditions at their wedding, like the Italian desserts, sharing a special dance with her father, having a 4 course meal (of course one course was pasta!), and many Italian music choices.
Guests enjoyed dancing (lots of Italian traditional dancing!), taking some epic photos at the photo booth, and breathing in all the gorgeous Southern California weather.
Daniela and Tommy continued the night with an after party at the hotel’s bar/lounge where they enjoyed small bites, drinks, and warming up by the fire.
The whole day was just amazing, full of so much love, happiness, and laughter!
(By the way, Daniela and Tommy are stunning!!)
